Jan Dandridge



Jan Dandridge has performed at many functions as a solo artist and as a duo Act with Don Gula, She also plays with her band "Little Miss Country and the Kick Ass Kowboys" as well as many other musicians. Jan started singing at a young age, starting out at the Presbyterian Church in Drouin and the BP Revue in Warragul. After a very long break from singing (where she was square dance caller, running a few square dancing clubs) She has been back singing mainly Country for the past 4 years. Performing regularly at Father’s In The Chapel (in Cranbourne), BAD Folk (Berwick), Peninsular, Outer East and Gippsland Country Music Clubs, The Entertainers Club and the Newport RSL. She has also performed at Festivals, Open Mic Nights, Nursing Homes, Over 55’s villages and private functions. Her repertoire includes anything from both Old and New Country, to Sing-A-Longs, to Folk etc. Playing guitar and singing both her own original songs and covers. She has recently released her debut album, “Holiday From Hell” in December 2007 which was recorded at the Hugh McDonald Studios in Kew, with her first CD launch in January 2008. the album includes 7 originals and 5 covers. Jan just loves to sing and perform and she says it's is a great joy to see smiles on the audience faces as they sing along.
